Shashara has classes, workshops, and treatment sessions for all age groups and levels.

All run from the beautiful premises at 17 Waterloo Street Cleveland, Brisbane.

We invite you to join with us, to come and sit, to come and listen, to witness and learn. This means to come with no preconceptions, that you come 'empty' in order to be totally present and with deep respect for what is being shared.

Come and share in a day of healing, ritual and ceremony

The Way of the Hollow Bone is the pathway to healing for ourselves and others through the medicine drum, ceremony and journeying : learning to clear away all the limitations we impose on ourselves, enabling us to follow Spirit's gentle guidance as a true hollow bone.

If you are attending the " Way of the Hollow Bone " workshop we would like you to bring the following:

1. Your drum (this is our preference)*
2. Doona, blanket or yoga mat
3. A Cushion or pillow
4. A Blindfold - any material to cover the eyes
5. 1 candle
6. A journal / note pad & pen

Practical Feng shui tools can be used to alleviate these problems, blocking negativity and allowing more positive chi/ energy to flow within your home.

Bruce will share some simple and effective feng Shui cures that you can simply apply creating a more harmonious house hold.

This short workshop gives you practical information on how to use simple Feng Shui to enhance your love life, sleep better and create a healthier atmosphere in your bedroom.

A large portion of your time is spent in your bedroom and so you want to have your space set up to both support you and enhance the love in your life.

Bruce shares easy to apply tips on creating the right conditions in your bedroom to allow the energy to flow more harmoniously.

He explains the basic what to and what not to do when setting up your room and shares simple easy to apply Feng Shui cures.

This workshop is suitable for those wishing to enhance current relationships, attract a new one or deepen their relationship with themselves.

Dreamcatcher Making Workshop

According to Native American folklore, it was Grandmother Spiderwoman who sang the Universe into being by weaving the Web of Life. Grandmother Spider wove the first Dream Catcher, a beautiful and protective web woven within a ring of willow wood. In the centre she placed a single turquoise stone, a symbol of connection to the Creative Force, clarity, peace, communication and protection.

It is said that with the aid of the Dream Catcher, all our dreams can be harnessed and fruitfully brought to fruition. It reminds us of the sacred role we all play as vital strands in the Web of Life.

We all yearn to be in control of our lives and to make a difference to the world. We all yearn to believe in ourselves, to have faith in our abilities, to heal and realise our true potential.

Music Meditation

* Satsang/Kirtan - A Sacred space of music and silence
with Robert Stevenson

*Satsang is a Sanskrit word meaning ‘meeting' (sangha) in ‘truth' (sat). It is a form of meditation which includes mantras, chanting, spiritually uplifting songs and is a pathway to inner peace.

The music helps to deepen the silence. There is no effort required, satsang happens naturally. It creates a sacred space where we can sit silently together. It is a time we can give ourselves that we so easily overlook.

We come together in our aloneness, which brings us closer as friends, because in this sacred space together, there is no judgement - we are all one.

We sometimes incorporate Sufi dancing (a dance of universal peace). These are dances of simple, basic steps, based on sacred phrases.
